Inspection limited to siding, windows, deck and rear slab only, current conditions.
II. EXTERIOR
1. Rear concrete slab at basement door, drain noted added by homeowner, Slab has pitch and added concrete step. Appears serviceable. Pic 7
2. Rear wood deck/steps on concrete footings, 4x4 pillars and PT framing. Deck is mostly finished, however some stair balusters are to be finished, cut to stair angle. Deck is flashed and attached to the house with bolts. Joists are on metal hangers. Hand rail loose on deck sides, recommend add additional bolt attachment at hand rail support uprights, block joists on sides to limit movement. Pic 8
3. Siding is vinyl, 4 sides. Siding has been pulled loose at some windows, e.g. rear kitchen windows, unfinished/trimmed at other windows. Recommend finish all, adjust bevel, trim and seal. Pic 9, 10
4. Front basement stone cladding on foundation to first floor line, windows unfinished in framing, recommend finish, and backer rod to fill gaps, trim and seal. Pic 12
III INTERIOR
1. Vinyl double hung, double pane windows appear installed per manufacturers requirements. Windows tested on both floors, basement windows front and rear to be finished, dry wall open and finish trim to be added. 1st floor kitchen windows finished. All windows tested worked smoothly, to be sealed and finished outside. Pic 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
2. Door at kitchen threshold appears to have leaked in the past, stains and minor decay noted in bay framing under deck. Door weather stripping incomplete, recommend repair/replace threshold, seal to avoid moisture to framing/deckattachment. Pic 11

PLAINITFF INSULATED WALL SYSTEMS, INC.HEREBY NOTICES the entry upon and inspection of physical property locatedat 4083 Red Laurel Way Snellville, Georgia 30039 on Wednesday July 5, 2006 at1:00 p.m. for the purpose of inspecting the exterior of Defendant’s residence. The inspection will also include the interior of the residence directly adjacent to replacement windowsinstalled by the Plaintiff. Plaintiff intends to have present at said inspection two experts in the fields of siding and window installation, slab pouring and deck building within Gwinnett County. They are Mike Entiger of Ted Lansing Corporation and Scott Berlyoung, Certified Inspector, ASHI, GAHI, CABO,SBCCI of House Smart, Inc. Plaintiff encourages Defendant to have present at said inspection any expert upon whom the Defendant intends to rely.
